Literal : Throughout the senior year I did my service learning with Sherri Diaz, is one of the cardio kickboxing instructors at the LA Fitness in Diamond Bar. Sherri has allowed me to set up the tech equipment, set up the class and help clean up the class after.Sherri was the person I would always go to whenever I had questions about cardio kickboxing and any questions I had that were just lingering. She allowed me to take notes on her during the class about specifically what she teachs in the class and also how to have 30 other people follow, repeat and listen to what she was saying and instructing. Due to the gym having been under construction for the last month, I haven't seen or talked to Sherri since the classes have been revoked until the gym is done being remodeled.

Interperative : The most important thing I learned from Sherri is how to teach the class and motivate other people to do the workout to their best ability. As i took notes of what qualities shined through, I narrowed it down to 3 specific qualities, those being, having the same about of energy as expected by the class, motivating those who look really tired and showing no less of effort during the class. These qualities, even though my essential question isn't about what quality a cardio kickboxing instructor needs to have; gives me the right tools to execute my cardio kickboxing class and activites during my 2 hour presentation.

Applied : Through Sherri I learned the important and key processes of what makes a cardio kickboxing class so effective. Even though one of my interviews was with another cardio kickboxing instructor, Sherri allowed me to get active in the class by setting up for it, making sure the area was nice before and after and taking the class along with her.Her class allowed me to use my best answer, using THRZ throughout the cardio kickboxing fitness program. The class also allowed to me to test how different types of food affects an exercise; first answer came into consideration and also how motivation and commitment is key to starting, finishing and being consistant with the class is important to achieving the health benefits a person would want; which is my second answer.
